The painting shows three people on a ship harpooning what appears to be the Megalodon. Head to the south of Salty Sands and look for a large rock with a painting on it. You'll find a skeleton buried in the ground just outside of it. Head to Shipwreck Bay and go to the Blackwyche shipwreck. Head to this outpost and look at the large plaque above the entrance door. Head to Plunder Outpost and on the Eastern Side, you need to shoot yourself up to a small cliff on the main mountain. Look at the name it's carving into the rock to find this legend. Head to the northeast side of this island and you'll find a skeleton with its hand on a rock. You'll find a poster nailed to a vertical piece of wood that looks like it used to be part of a wall. Head to Wanderer's Refuge and climb to the highest point of it, right in the middle of the island. You'll find a large, wooden structure up here and a poster nailed to one of its wooden beams. Head into the tavern on Dagger Tooth and you'll find it to the left of the bar. Head to the Fort of the Damned and climb the second tallest tower. Head to the store of the Wild Treasures Store and you'll find this journal underneath a hammock hanging by a brazier. This journal can be found underneath the chair.

Inside the captain's quarter, you'll find a red chair made of wood. Head to Shipwreck Bay and look for the wrecked Blackwyche ship. Overlooking the fort, look for the lit brazier and you'll find the journal right next to it. Head to the southwest side of the island and climb up the wooden tower. Inside the hideout, you'll find the journal on a shelf on the wall. You cannot access this Hideout unless you're a pirate legend or in a crew with someone that is a pirate legend. Inside the skeleton, you'll find the journal on a piece of bone. Head to the southeast side of the island and look for the massive Kraken skeleton. You'll find the journal lodged between a wooden piece of the ship and the rock beneath the ship. Head to The Crooked Masts and climb to the very top - it's the brazier beacon that you're looking for. Inside, you'll find an opened crate next to a barrel with a crate on top of it. Head to the eastern side of The Devil's Thirst and look for the abandoned ship on shore. On the southern end of Crescent Isle, you'll find three barrels and the skeleton of what looks like an old rowboat or wagon. Up here, head south until you see a large rock sticking up. Head to the Devil's Ridge and climb to the top of the main circle of rocks.
